Basic information about our school:

We are a private secondary school, focused on information technologies and computing..
Our school was founded in 1994 and has its seat in a reconstructed building in Energetiků 144 Street.
We offer an attractive specialization for students in four-year study, which is finished by the school leaving examination called ´maturita´.

The IES Certificate is attached to the successfully passed leaving exam.

The graduates of our school can assert themselves in jobs like administrators, programmers, websites designers, etc., or they can study at colleges and universities.

The four-year study contains both general subjects /Czech language and literature, Maths, Science, etc./ and vocational subjects / Programming, databases, PC networks,Hardware, etc.

In view of being one of the smallest schools of our region, we offer nearly´domestic´at­mosphere and work in small groups.

We have made a large investment in our network of computers. Networked computers give access to the Internet, the school Intranet and a variety of modern software and training packages. The labs are available for individual drop-in use.

Excursions, sports events and competitions make an essential part of the curriculum. Our students are successful not only in regional, but in all-state and world competitions as well.

Every year we run a competition in computing for participants of other secondary and grammar schools of our region and partner schools in Rybnik, Poland, and Turčianské Teplice, Slovakia.

We offer vocational courses for the public, which are designed to various requirements.

If you have completed your secondary education and want to specialize in computing, we offer you a two-year course.
